I was in the midst of writing an entry earlier when karen came and told me to go to Jill's party. The entry was a big complaint about how I probably wouldn't get to go to it either. I am so good at sticking my foot in my mouth. It was kinda lame though, I just went and ate a sandwich then I left. I feel so awkward in large groups when there's not central focus. Hey, at least I got free lunch.

It's going to be weird going to this bar after work. Again this is another thing for Jill. All the other interns are gone for the day, which means it will be actual employees + Jane. This could be a good thing though. I just don't know how to mingle well. Whatever. I will go, have a drink, stay for 45 minutes, say goodbye to Jill, and boogie.

Yesterday was a good day. Oddly enough, Jeremiah has started being nicer to me. I don't know why or where it is coming from. Maybe I have succeeded in my slight behavior change with him. I haven't noticed much, but maybe it's there. He gave me a project yesterday that was really interesting to do. I really appreciated that. The project was to cross reference the radio charts with SoundScan. I love that kind of crap. :-) Looking at CD sales numbers is fun for me. I don't know, but I like it.

Everyone seems to be in a very uppity mood today, which is fun. It's Friday, which probably explains it.

I applied for 2 jobs today and another one earlier in the week. It would be nice to leave here with a prospect. I have been focusing on the Chicago area. It just seems like the right place to be. It's big so there are more available jobs in my interest areas, but it's closer to home. Yay! Of course if Jill were to offer me a job in Milwaukee, I would take it in a heartbeat.
